Joining us for Tea? Here is what you need to know before planning your visit:
In order to properly staff each seating, we strongly recommend reservations to be made with at least 24 hours notice. Our seatings generally book up two-three weeks in advance, so please make plans accordingly. We accept walk-ins and same day reservations upon availability.
For all parties of 8 or more guests, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit provided at the time of booking a reservation. This deposit confirms your reservation. We require 72-hrs for cancellations and changes to reservations.
If you provide 72-hrs:
You may reschedule your reservation to a later date and the deposit will transfer to that new date
And if you need to cancel the reservation completely, we will refund the total paid less the deposit
And if you need to cancel an individual (i.e. make adjustments to headcount), we will refund the individual
If you do not provide 72-hrs notice:
And need cancel the reservation completely, no refunds will be issued
And need to reschedule the reservation, we will reschedule, but guest will have to start a new reservation (deposit is not applied)
And an individual cancels in the party, we can package up their meal to-go
Please note that parties must be paid in full 7-days prior to the reservation date, or a reservation may be canceled. Changes to reservations and dietary requirements must be made with at least 72-hr notice.
Monthly Themed Teas
Monthly themed events are reserved through Tock, our reservation platform. You may reserve by clicking the reservation button at the top of this page. These reservations require a non-refundable $25 deposit per ticket. The deposit is paid upon booking the reservation through our reservation platform, Tock. A $2.25 service fee is also added at that time. The balance, which includes all taxes and 20% gratuity is paid at the conclusion of the event and a bill will be presented by your server. If you need to cancel your reservation and provide at least 72-hours notice, we may issue a credit toward a future themed tea. Should you have guests who are unable to attend and do not provide you with adequate notice (at least 72-hrs), you may take their meal to-go and will be charged in full. Please understand that we regularly have guests on the waitlist and proper notice of a cancellation or reservation change allows us to fulfill their request.
Depending on the themed menu, dietary accommodations may be made with at least 7-day notice. Our themed teas have a preset, custom menu and accommodations are made when possible. Please call to discuss specific accommodations, questions or concerns prior to your visit.
Guests who attend our themed teas grant The Tea Cart permission to use any photos taken of them by our staff to use for promotional purposes including, but not limited to social media, email marketing and on our website.
Please note, we cannot split checks. Because the deposit is under one reservation/name, we are unable to divide this among guests who wish to split the check. Please plan accordingly.
Requests to increase party size on pre-paid reservations grants The Tea Cart permission to charge the additional deposit on the credit card previously used.
Allergies and Dietary Accommodations
Disclaimer: The Tea Cart uses a variety of food products and ingredients to prepare its menu items and as such disclaims any responsibility for adverse reactions of our guests due to allergy to such products. We are not a nut free, nor a gluten-free kitchen and cross contamination can occur. All guests should take this into consideration prior to making a reservation. We cannot be expected to alter our menu without prior notice and discussion of your food allergies.
We can accommodate the following dietary restrictions with adequate notice:
A substitution charge of $2-7 will be applied to the meal with an accommodation, depending on the extent of the dietary request. All requests must be communicated at the time of making a reservation.
