Joining us for Tea? Here is what you need to know before planning your visit:

In order to properly staff each seating, we strongly recommend reservations to be made with at least 24 hours notice. Our seatings generally book up two-three weeks in advance, so please make plans accordingly. We accept walk-ins and same day reservations upon availability.

Afternoon Tea


For parties of 1-7 people, a reservation is sufficient to secure your seat at our afternoon tea seating. We will accept payment in full at the conclusion of your meal. In order to control overcrowding, please be aware that each seating is two-hours long. We welcome guests to shop our retail items, return hats, and take pictures at the conclusion of the seating in order for us to prepare for incoming guests.


For parties of 8 or more guests, we require a 50% deposit due at the time of booking your reservation. At this time, we are not booking large parties (8 or more guests) online. Please contact the tearoom to coordinate your party.

  • Splitting meals is not permitted

  • Please limit check splitting to two payments

  • A la cart items are available for purchase

  • Prices and menus are subject to change without notice

  • We do not accept reservations for Lady Rita's Cream Tea. This meal selection is only available to walk-ins upon availability

  • Wednesday reservations are available upon request with a minimum of 10 guests

  • 20% gratuity is automatically added to parties of 8 or more guests

  • For pre-paid, large parties of 8-16 guests, 72 hours notice is required for a full refund. Should you have guests who are unable to attend and do not provide you with adequate notice, you may take their meal to-go

  • Groups of 17 guests or more must arrange private dining, which is subject to a rental fee

  • Rental fees are non-refundable





For parties of 1-7 guests, afternoon tea reservations may be cancelled at any time. However, we request you do so with at least 48 hours notice so we may fill your spot and plan accordingly. Seatings typically fill up two-three weeks in advance.

Dining with children 10 and younger:

  • Child-friendly seatings are at 10:45 am, 11:00 am, and 11:15 am ONLY. If a reservation with children included is made at an adults only seating, your group will be asked to move to a different seating

  • A maximum of 5 children, 10 years and younger, are allowed in a party 

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult while trying on hats and/or browsing merchandise

  • An adult must be present at any table where there is a child

Monthly Themed Teas

Monthly themed events are reserved through Tock, our reservation platform. You may reserve by clicking the reservation button at the top of this page. Should you need to cancel your reservation, a full refund may be issued with at least 72 hours notice. If a guest in your party cannot attend, we can package up their meal or if 48 hours notice is provided, we may refund the ticket. Please understand that we regularly have guests on the waitlist and proper notice of a cancellation or reservation change allows us to fulfill their request.

Depending on the themed menu, dietary accommodations may be made with at least 7-day notice. Our themed teas have a preset, custom menu and accommodations are made when possible. Please call to discuss specific accommodations, questions or concerns prior to your visit.

Guests who attend our themed teas grant The Tea Cart permission to use any photos taken of them by our staff to use for promotional purposes including, but not limited to social media, email marketing and on our website.

Allergies and Dietary Accommodations 

Disclaimer: The Tea Cart uses a variety of food products and ingredients to prepare its menu items and as such disclaims any responsibility for adverse reactions of our guests due to allergy to such products. We are not a nut free, nor a gluten-free kitchen and cross contamination can occur. All guests should take this into consideration prior to making a reservation. We cannot be expected to alter our menu without prior notice and discussion of your food allergies.

We can accommodate the following dietary restrictions:

  • Gluten-free

  • Vegetarian

  • Dairy-free

A substitution charge of $2-7 will be applied to the meal with an accommodation, depending on the extent of the dietary request. All requests must be communicated at the time of making a reservation.
