Policy Changes as of June 1, 2020:

In light of the detrimental effect the novel coronavirus COVID-19 has had on all of us, we are taking every step to ensure that coming for afternoon tea is as safe and easy as possible. With that being said, we will no longer require prepayment for large parties, dietary accommodations, and themed teas. 

 

In order to properly staff each seating, we are requiring reservations to be made with at least 24 hour notice. We will not be accepting same day reservations or walk-ins at this time.

 

Once we are able to resume normal operations and capacity, we will continue to require advanced payment in full for all dining room rentals. For parties of 20 or more, we will require a 50% deposit due at the time of booking the reservation. Parties with less than 20 guests may book their reservation via our online reservation platform.

 

 

 

In order for all our guests to enjoy their experience at The Tea Cart, we do make certain accommodations. Unfortunately, we cannot meet all requests. Please review the below policies prior to making a reservation. We look forward to having you join us for tea!

 

  • All dietary restrictions must be specified at the time of making the reservation, otherwise we cannot guarantee special accommodations

  • A $6.00 charge will be added for any substitutions or dietary accommodations

  • There is a charge for extra desserts, sandwiches or other tray items that are not included in the menu price

  • Prices and menus are subject to change without notice

  • Splitting afternoon teas are not permitted

  • Reservations for Lady Rita's Cream Tea are accepted only if another member of the party is ordering the Royal Ascot or Duchess of York 

Monthly Themed Teas

Monthly themed events arereserved through Tock, our reservations platform. You may reserve by clicking the reservation button at the top of this page. We ask for 24 hr notice for all cancellations. All changes must be communicated with at least 72-hrs notice. Dietary accommodations may be made with at least 7-day notice upon availability. Our themed teas have a preset, custom menu and accommodations are made when possible.

Guests who attend our themed teas grant The Tea Cart permission to use any photos taken of them by our staff to use for promotional purposes including, but not limited to social media, email marketing and on our website.

Cancellations 

Afternoon Tea (reservation for parties 1-6)

Your reservation can be cancelled at any time before the time of the reservation should your plans change. However, we request that you do so at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Events

In the event you need to cancel a reservation for a themed tea, please provide 24 hr notice. You may transfer your reservation to another person or for another themed tea event.

Large Parties

Any cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made at least 7-days prior to event date for a 100% refund.

Private Dining

Rental fees are non-refundable.

Allergies and Dietary Accommodations 

Disclaimer: The Tea Cart uses a variety of food products and ingredients to prepare its menu items and as such disclaims any responsibility for adverse reactions of our guests due to allergy to such products. We are NOT a nut free, nor a gluten-free kitchen and cross contamination can occur. All guests should take this into consideration prior to making a reservation. We cannot be expected to alter our menu without prior notice and discussion of your food allergies.
